We are deeply committed to safeguarding your privacy and ensuring you have full control over your personal data while using our app. This Privacy Policy explains in detail how we handle your data when you use Glamf, with particular emphasis on our strict practices regarding the non-collection of facial recognition data and biometric profiles. A key feature of Glamf is that it can be used entirely without requiring an account, real-world identity information, or any form of user registration—allowing you to enjoy the app’s services with maximum privacy and minimal data exposure.
No Account Required
Glamf is designed to be fully accessible without any account registration. You do not need to create an account, provide an email address, username, password, or any personal identification information to use any of the app’s features. This includes uploading photos, generating AI court-style portraits, viewing Before & After comparisons of your images, managing your created portraits in the My Creations section, and making in-app purchases. We do not store any user identity data, and there is no mechanism for us to link your app activity, generated content, or usage patterns to a specific individual. Your experience with Glamf remains completely anonymous, with no personal information tied to your usage.
Information We Do Not Collect
We have implemented strict data practices to ensure we do not collect or retain any unnecessary personal data, including explicit prohibitions on the collection of facial recognition data and biometric profiles. The following sections detail our non-collection practices for facial and biometric information, as well as other categories of data we do not gather, to provide full transparency about how we protect your privacy.
Non-Collection of Facial Recognition Data and Biometric Profiles
Glamf is specifically designed to process your photos solely for the purpose of generating the requested European court-style portrait, and we do not collect, store, use, or share any facial recognition data or biometric profiles in any form. Our practices regarding the non-collection of facial and biometric information are detailed below, with clear explanations to confirm we do not gather any such data:
- No Extraction of Biometric Identifiers: When you upload a photo to Glamf, our AI model processes the image exclusively to transform its visual appearance into the selected Rococo or Baroque court style. This processing does not involve extracting any unique biometric identifiers—including facial feature points, facial geometry, facial landmarks, or any other characteristics that can be used to uniquely identify an individual. The AI’s sole function is to apply stylistic changes to the image (such as adding court-inspired outfits, adjusting lighting to match European court aesthetics, and refining details to achieve an elegant portrait look) without extracting or analyzing any biometric data from the face in the photo. No facial data points, measurements, or unique identifiers are pulled from your image at any stage of processing.
- No Creation of Biometric Profiles: We do not build, maintain, update, or store any biometric profiles for users. A biometric profile is a collection of biometric data that is used to recognize or identify a specific person over time. Since we do not extract any biometric data from your photos—including facial data—we cannot create or store such profiles. Each photo you upload is processed in isolation for the single portrait generation request you make; there is no linking of facial data across multiple requests, multiple photos, or different users. Even if you upload multiple photos of the same person, our AI does not recognize or associate those images with a single individual, as no biometric profiling is performed.
- No Use of Facial Data for Identification or Tracking: We never use any facial data from your photos for the purpose of identifying you, verifying your identity, tracking your activity within the app, or tracking your activity across other services. The only use of your uploaded photo is to generate the specific court-style portrait you requested. Once the portrait generation is complete, the original photo and any temporary processed data related to the image are not used for any additional purposes—including AI model training, user analytics, targeted advertising, or user profiling. Your facial features are never used to distinguish you from other users or to track your usage patterns.
- No Retention of Processed Facial Data: We do not retain any processed facial data, intermediate results, or AI model outputs related to facial features after the portrait generation process is complete. The AI processes your photo temporarily to create the stylized portrait, and all temporary data related to the processing (including any data that touches facial features) is immediately deleted once the final portrait is generated and delivered to you. The only image that is saved is the final generated portrait, which is stored locally on your device in the My Creations section (at your discretion), and we do not store any copies of the processed facial data, original photo, or intermediate files on our servers or in any cloud storage.
- No Third-Party Sharing of Facial Data: Since we do not collect any facial recognition data or biometric profiles in the first place, there is no such data to share with third parties. We do not disclose, transfer, sell, or rent any facial data to advertisers, analytics providers, social media platforms, or any other third-party services. Our commitment to not collecting facial data means there is no risk of your facial information being shared or misused by external parties.
Other Information We Do Not Collect
In addition to facial and biometric data, we do not collect any other unnecessary personal information, ensuring your privacy is protected at every level. The following types of information are never gathered by Glamf:
- Personal Identification Information: We do not collect names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, date of birth, or any other contact or personal identification details. You can use the app entirely anonymously without providing any information that could identify you personally.
- Location Data: We do not access or collect your device’s GPS location, IP address-based location, or any other geographic data. Your usage of Glamf is not tied to your physical location in any way.
- Device Identifiers for Tracking: We do not collect IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers), IDFV (Identifier for Vendors), serial numbers, or any other device identifiers for the purpose of tracking you across apps, services, or devices. We do not use device data to identify or profile users.
- Usage Analytics Data: We do not collect data about your app usage, such as which style templates you select, how often you generate portraits, how long you use the app, or which features you access most frequently. We do not track or analyze your usage patterns in any way.
- Crash or Performance Data: We do not collect crash logs, performance metrics, error reports, or any other technical data about your device or the app’s performance. If the app crashes, no data is sent to us—ensuring your device and usage data remain private.
Information We Process and How We Use It
While we do not collect personal data, we process certain data temporarily to provide the core functionality of Glamf. All processing is designed to be minimal, purpose-specific, and aligned with your privacy choices, with no data retained beyond what is necessary to deliver the service you request.
Uploaded Photos and Generated Portraits
- Uploaded Photos: When you upload a photo from your camera or photo library, the photo is temporarily processed by our AI model to generate the court-style portrait you requested. We do not store the original uploaded photo on our servers or in any cloud storage. The original photo remains stored locally on your device, and you have full control over it (including deleting it from your device’s photo library at any time).
- Generated Portraits: The AI-generated court portrait is saved to the “My Creations” section within the app, which is stored locally on your device. We do not store any copies of the generated portraits on our servers unless you explicitly choose to share them—and Glamf does not include social sharing features, so this is not a default functionality. You have complete control over the generated portraits: you can browse them, mark them as favorites, zoom to full screen, check their creation time, save them to your device’s system photo library, or delete them from My Creations at any time.
- Purpose of Processing: The sole purpose of processing your uploaded photo is to generate the requested European court-style portrait. No other uses are made of the photo or the generated portrait—we do not use them for training our AI model, analytics, or any other purpose beyond delivering the service you asked for.
In-App Purchase and Coin Balance Data
- Coin Balance: We maintain a local coin balance on your device to track your usage of the portrait generation feature. You start with an initial amount of coins, and each portrait generation uses a small portion of that balance. The coin balance is stored only on your device—we do not store it on our servers, so your balance is tied to your device (and can be restored via the “Restore Purchases” feature if you change devices or reinstall the app).
- In-App Purchases: When you purchase additional coin packs or subscribe to the optional auto-renewing subscription, the entire payment process is handled by your device’s official app store (e.g., Apple App Store or Google Play Store). We do not collect, store, or process any payment information—including credit card numbers, billing addresses, or payment account details. The app store processes the payment and provides us with a receipt to confirm the purchase, which we use solely to restore your coin balance or subscription status if you change devices or reinstall the app.
- Subscription Restoration: The “Restore Purchases” feature in the app’s Settings screen uses the receipt provided by your app store to verify your purchase history and restore your coin packs or active subscription. This process does not involve collecting any personal data; it is limited to verifying the purchase with the app store to ensure you have access to the features you paid for.
Data Storage and Security
We prioritize the security of your data and have implemented measures to ensure that any data processed by Glamf is protected, with a focus on keeping data local and minimizing retention.
- Local Storage: All data related to your coin balance, generated portraits, and app preferences is stored locally on your device. We do not use cloud storage, remote servers, or any external platforms to store your personal data or app-related information. This means your data never leaves your device unless you choose to save generated portraits to your system photo library.
- Temporary Processing: Any temporary processing of your uploaded photo occurs on our secure servers, and all data related to this processing (including the original photo and intermediate results) is deleted immediately after the portrait is generated. We use industry-standard encryption protocols to protect data during transmission between your device and our servers, ensuring that no unauthorized parties can access the data while it is being processed.
- User Control: You have complete control over the data stored on your device. You can delete any generated portrait from the My Creations section at any time, and deleting the Glamf app from your device will remove all local data associated with the app—including your coin balance, generated portraits, and app preferences. No data is left behind or retained by us after you delete the app.
Third-Party Services
Glamf uses a limited number of third-party services, and none of these services collect or process your personal data in a way that compromises your privacy. We only work with trusted third parties that align with our privacy commitments:
- App Store Payment Systems: All in-app purchases are processed by your device’s official app store (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play Store). These app stores have their own privacy policies that govern how they handle your payment data, and we do not have access to any of your payment information (such as credit card details or billing addresses).
- No Other Third-Party Services: Glamf does not integrate with any advertising SDKs, analytics tools, social media platforms, or other third-party services that collect user data. We do not share any data with third parties for any purpose—including advertising, analytics, or marketing.
Your Privacy Rights
Since Glamf does not collect or store any personal data, your privacy rights are straightforward and fully within your control. You have complete authority over your data and how it is used:
- Right to Access: You can access all your generated portraits, coin balance, and app preferences at any time through the app’s My Creations and Settings screens. All your data is readily available to you within the app.
- Right to Delete: You can delete any generated portrait from the My Creations section at any time with a single tap. Deleting the Glamf app from your device will remove all local data associated with the app, including your coin balance and generated portraits.
- Right to Restrict Processing: You can choose to stop using the app at any time, which will immediately cease all processing of your data. No further data processing occurs once you stop using Glamf.
- Right to Data Portability: All generated portraits are stored on your device, and you can save them to your system photo library at any time. This gives you full portability of your content—you can take your generated portraits with you even if you delete the app.
Children’s Privacy
Glamf is designed for use by individuals who are at least 18 years of age, and we do not target or knowingly allow use of the App by individuals under 18 years of age. Since our app does not require account registration or collect any personal data, there is no mechanism for minors under 18 to provide us with personal information. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 18 has used Glamf, please contact us using the information provided below, and we will assist you, as we do not collect any facial information or other personal data that could be linked to your child.
